GETTING HERE
Air travel to Los Angles is plentiful. The closest airport to Thousand Oaks is Bob Hope/Burbank Airport, at 20 miles away. Secondarily, LAX is about 30 miles from Thousand Oaks. Burbank airport is more easily manuvered, however more airlines and more direct flights are serviced by LAX. Both airports offer rental cars, UBER/LYFT and taxi service
TRANSPORTATION
Although shuttle transportation will be offered to/from the Westlake Village Inn, if you are driving or renting a car, you will be given a pass to allow entrance into the gated Sherwood Country Club area.
WHAT TO PACK
California weather can be cool this time of year. Please bring layers for golf, jacket or coat for evenings. The Welcome Reception will be "Country Club Casual" attire. The Champions Dinner will be "Dinner Dress".Please bring rain gear, just in case!

There are 4 hotels within 5 miles of the LOHLA SPORT Headquarters and within 10 miles of Sherwood Country Club.

- FORMAT
- Format will be gross 18-hole stroke play. Groups will be foursomes. In the event of a tie, the participants will head back to the course for a "sudden death" format until a Champion is achieved. Top 3 participants will be awarded.
- CADDIES
- Each foursome will be accompanied by a Sherwood Country Club forecaddy. Forecaddies are able to provide distances, overview of the holes, reading of greens, raking of traps, etc. Personal caddies are not permitted. Your forecaddy will be non-biased and provide as much information to each participant upon request. They are trained and are employees of Sherwood Country Club. Tipping is strongly encouraged and is usually $40/person/round.
- GOLF CARTS
- To maintain pace of play and avoid injury, participants will be riding in carts during the tournament. 2 per cart.
- TEE TIMES
- Tee Times will be spaced 10 minutes apart and will fall between 9am-11am PST. Your tee times will be announced at the Welcome Reception on January 2, 2023.
- DRIVING RANGE
- The driving range will be open for warm up prior to play. Driving range will open 30 minutes prior to 1st tee time.
- LOCKER ROOM
- Each participant will be provided a locker in the Ladies Locker Room for the entire day of tournament.
- FOOD AVAILABILITY
- Breakfast will be provided at Sherwood Country Club prior to play for each participant. Lunch will be provided at the turn of the round. Players are allowed to bring their own snacks.
- "PLUS ONES"
- Each participant may bring a guest for an additional charge of $250. This plus one may accompany participant to the Welcome Party and to the Champions Dinner. The plus one's may not play golf or accompany their participant while on the course during tournament. Participant needs to notify LOHLA SPORT if bringing a guest upon registration.
- PRACTICE ROUNDS
- A practice round may be arranged on January 2nd for an additional $225. There will be 6 tee times set aside for those who would like to play a practice round. Forecaddies will be provided. Part Usual tipping for forecaddies is $40/bag/person. Participant needs to notify LOHLA SPORT if desiring a practice round upon registration.
